Mechanoreceptors (sensors for movement) are embedded in the tissue surrounding joints. When these tissues get stretched by a misallignment of a joint (ie; from a fall etc.) this activates an inhibition or weakening of the adjacent muscle. Other muscles around the joint will have to compensate.Discovery of these weak muscles and correction of the misalligned joint to restore normal strength is a speciality of the Wolff Clinic practitioners.Treatments are gentle, safe, natural, non invasive and highly effective. Also, the treatments are designed to correct the root cause of your problem and not simply cover up the symptoms you experience.
