Musculoskeletal problems (muscles and joints) are one of the most common complaints in the aging population. Although these problems are often thought of as part and parcel of the normal aging process, musculoskeletal disease is not necessarly part of the inevitable consequences of increasing birthdays. The proper management of these injuries is critical. Seemingly minor injuries, if neglected or improperly treated, will result in significant disability that will only get worsen with time.
